Our Advanced acting technique acting class builds on the techniques in the beginner classes
to work with the imagination, voice, and body
Exercises focus principally on:
• Creating a character
• Existing in the environment of the play
• Sense memory
• Emotional preparation
Text analysis also commences while working on longer scenes, with a special emphasis given to Subtext
Advanced technique prepares you for in-depth scene study classes
Note: It is necessary (and to your benefit!) to complete Beginner Acting Technique before progressing to Advanced Technique, or to show that you have taken some form of beginner training with other teachers
